Wheel Loader – experiences of wheel loader maintenance for reference.
I. Small maintenance

Small maintenance or regular maintenance is the damage recovery by replacing or repairing some of the details or parts of machines & implementing all the adjustments
Small maintenance is usually carried out in the workshop and repair small damages. Small maintenance are implemented by removing, inserting, assembling, welding, cooling … & replacing damaged parts by new parts (not basic details)
In some cases, replacing will be increased to reduce the time of waiting in the workshop.

1. II. Big maintenance
   Big maintenance recovers working ability of the whole machine (engine, transmission system, control system) After the process of big maintenance , all parts or systems are tested, adjusted & freshly painted.
2. The process of big maintenance
   The process of big maintenance for construction machines as follows:
   – Wash the outside of the machine
   – Disassemble all details of the machine
   – Wash all details of the machine
   – Test & classify details
   – Repair or recover damaged details
   – Assemble details and the whole machine
   – Test, adjust & paint the machine

III. FORMS OF MAINTENANCE
There are two forms of maintenance: solitaly maintenance & gradual maintenance

1. Solitaly maintenance

After maintenance, all the details or systems must be assembled into the machine which they are taken out.
All the details are widely used & suitable for types of machines which is diversified but quantities of types are few
Disadvantage of this form is prolonged time of maintenance, because the time from the end of removing to the beginning of assembling is too long and time for waiting is to recover or repair damaged machine parts.

2. Gradual maintenance

The machine was disassembled into details, structures & system or other parts of the machine with the same type have been repaired and taken from the ware house of spare parts

This form is widely used & suitable for types of machines which aren’t much but quantities of types are huge

Basic advantages of this form is reduced time of repairing , modern technology, high level of mechanization, better quality of maintenance, low prices…
